The Dominican Navy is looking for three fishermen who disappeared in Haitian waters

The Dominican Republic Navy is looking for three fishermen who since last Sunday left from Pedernales to fish in Haitian territorial waters and since then their whereabouts are unknown.
The native fishermen of the community of Los Cocos of the coastal community of Enriquillo, Barahona province, were identified by the Dominican Navy as Carlos Yanelkis Pérez, Estarling Pérez Ruiz and a Haitian named Papo.
Relatives and friends  went to the Governor's Office of Pedernales to fill out a missing person report and to inform authorities of the last location of the three crew members of the boat named Ruany, white and blue.
According to one source, the fishermen left on the boat with expired license and without the permission of the Navy established on the coastal coast of this border area to enter Haitian waters.
It has been rumored that the three fishermen could be detained on the Haitian coast of Marigot, where many times boats of Dominican fishermen are shipwrecked.
