Six people were killed and three were wounded as a truck transporting goods hauled into a ravine, officials said. The accident happened in Anse-a-Pitre, near the border with the Dominican Republic. The three wounded were transferred to a hospital in the town of Fond Verretes, also near the border with the neighboring country, local authorities explained, but they did not specify the state of health of those affected.
