President Moise handed over 10 brand new vehicles to the Association of Mayors

President Jovenel Moise, on Friday, April 20, handed over a batch of 10 brand new vehicles to the representatives of the Association of Mayors of Haiti. 

According to a press note posted on the official Facebook page of the presidency, this initiative aims to encourage community actions to provide more services to the most remote population in Haiti.




“Each city hall will benefit from a vehicle” said proudly the president during the presentation ceremony, calling on these officials to ensure a sound management of these ressources made at their disposal “ to better serve the population and reduce pressure on the big cities.”

According to the same Facebook note : “This Distribution of vehicles is part of a set of actions, like the equipment already deployed in the various departments, as part of the Caravan of Change, aimed at strengthening the capacities of local authorities to create favorable conditions to put the country on the path of progress and sustainable development.”
