President Moise and Prime Minister Lafontant attended the 34th session of the Assembly ACP-EU Joint Parliamentary Assembly

Jovenel Mo├»se, accompanied by the Prime Minister, Dr. Jack Guy Lafontant, took part this Monday, December 18, 2017, in the Hotel Karibe Convention Center, at the work of the 34th session of the Assembly ACP-EU Joint Parliamentary Assembly taking place in Port-au-Prince from 13 to 20 December 2017 where Lawmakers from more than 106 countries have gathered since to debate many political, geopolitical and environmental issues.


"The Haitian Government and people, who are strongly engaged in a phase of political transition that is full of pitfalls and hopes, have accepted to host the forty-eighth session of the ACP Assembly and the thirty-fourth session of the the ACP-EU Joint Parliamentary Assembly to mark the commitment of the Republic of Haiti for the strengthening and sustainability of the partnership between the European Union and the ACP Group ",  Said the president during his address.

 I promise you that Haiti will never miss an opportunity to work tirelessly in the platforms and international assemblies in which development issues and problems that threaten the future of our planet will be discussed." he continued.
