The Haiti Jazz Foundation has officially launched, on Tuesday, January 9, 2017, the 12th edition of the International Jazz Festival of Port-au-Prince, which will be held from January 20 to 27, 2018 in the metropolitan area as well as provincial cities, under the high patronage of the Ministry of Culture with the support of the Ministry of Tourism.

Tourism will be at the center of the annual event which continues to attract international prestige.

According to the organizers, Port-au-Prince has a lot to offer tourists while participating, among other things, in the already spectacular jazz festival.

Since 2007, the capital of Haiti has been offering an ever-growing number of festivalgoers and audiences an international jazz festival. This cultural and musical non-profit event is an important annual cultural event offered to Haitians in January. Only the 2010 season was disorganized because of the 2010 earthquake in Haiti.

This jazz festival is organized by the "Haiti Jazz Foundation" with the support of the Ministries of Culture and Tourism of Haiti, as well as the help and partnership of the main embassies present in Haiti and private and public institutions.

Jazzy musicians come from all over the world, from the United States, Canada and especially Quebec, France, the West Indies, Belgium, Mexico, Chile, Brazil, Germany, Spain, Switzerland and its Haitian diaspora.
