A police officer was brutally murdered early this morning in Martissant 7 a densely populated town in the outskirts of Port-au-Prince.
On the way to work on his motorcycle, David Dumé was ambushed by a group of armed men who opened fire on him.
The perpetrators of this heinous crime immediately fled, leaving the lifeless body of the young officer in a pool of blood. The fact that his motorcycle and his belongings were not stolen after, leads many to believe he was executed.
This one is the latest in a series of violent crimes that have happened throughout Port-au-Prince in recent months.
