Started on December of 2011, the Lumane Casimir Village is one of the many housing projects underway to allocate the victims of the deadly 2010 earthquake that had left over 1.5 million people homeless. This community to date, is comprised of 1.000 units; 550 houses and 450 apartments.
Each housing units is comprised of 2 bedrooms, a dining room, a modern bathroom, a modern kitchen equipped with a gas stove that will help curb the deforestation problems plaguing the country. This village named after the great singer Lumane Casimir, also has a primary school, a police station, and fire department. Once completed in 2015, a public market, a mini industrial park and a sports field will also be built.
