Haitian President visits the country's largest cereal production company

Haitian President Jovenel Moise, visited this Thursday, the cereal production company, Caribbean Food Manufacturing, located in Santo 17.
These series of visits to agro-industries are part of the Executive's efforts to encourage local production and express solidarity with entrepreneurs who are fighting to revive the sector.

"We will work to encourage corn production across the country, including the South, a major corn producer, and other departments. We will also encourage agribusiness entrepreneurs to multiply factories throughout the country, " said the Head of State, who also promises to support animal feed producers and incentives to their activities.

President Moise calls for credit in the banking system and for access to the agribusiness sector. He also announces the revisiting, with the Government, the Central Bank and the Ministry of Economy and Finance, of the investment code.

"There is no progress in agricultural production without the processing of the products. The establishment of factories specializing in the processing of aricultural products in the production areas is therefore fundamental," the President of the Republic continued. To create conditions for investment and job creation in the country.

The President of the Republic, His Excellency Moise, took advantage of his visit to the Caribbean Food Manufacturing in Santo 17 to visit Top Haiti, an experienced company engaged in the manufacture of durable and weather-resistant sheet.
