Haiti's Minister of Justice Camille Edouard Junior has announced that FBI investigators will soon land in Haiti to provide assistance in the investigation of the attack suffered by some companies of the capital, such as Digicel, Natcom or the Mariott Hotel, this past June 24.

Camille Edouard gives the assurance that arrests will be made very soon as part of this investigation and the perpetrators of these attacks will be brought to justice.

The Embassy of the United States in Port-au-Prince strongly condemned the armed attacks on the night of June 23 to 24 against the premises of several companies.

The US diplomatic mission urged the Haitian authorities to investigate and prosecute the perpetrators of these acts to justice.

As the electoral and political crises continue to deepen, some of the country most populous cities such as the capital Port-au-Prince have seen a surge in violent crimes. It was the first time however that bandits had attacked these well known businesses.
