The death toll and damages from the devastating hurricane Matthew continue to rise in Haiti. Local Radio Tele Caraibes has just confirmed the death of 4 people in Port-au-Prince and the complete destruction of 6 houses after a ravine overflowed. Several police stations are also flooded, reports the station.

So far a total of 6 people can be confirmed dead, as the powerful storm pounds the country. Yesterday another local radio/tv station -Metropole Haiti-  also confirmed the death of two fishermen in the south department.

" We are facing great dangers" warned Haitian president Jocelerme Privert in a televised address Monday night, calling on everyone to look out for one another.
