Port-au-Prince, this 16th of March 2018

To the President of the Senate of the Republic of Haiti
Senator Joseph Lambert
In His Offices.

Mr. Speaker of the Senate,

Permit me to present you my warmest congratulations on your assumption of the presidency of one of the most prestigious state institutions of the country and I take the opportunity to inform you that following the judgment rendered against me by the Florida Court of Justice dated June 21, 2017 convicting me for money laundering, which charge remains until this minute, unjustified by the US government.

To this end I appealed against this famous decision: for the actual consecration of the action, I need one hundred and twenty-five thousand dollars ($ 125,000) for the fees of American lawyers and other expenses required by the case.

Since I am currently financially unable to pay the amount indicated above, I would strongly urge the Senate of the Republic to help me recover the aforementioned amount for the advancement of my file.

In anticipation of a Favorable and Happy Suite to this request, I request you to receive the President of the Senate, my thanks in advance and to accept the expression of my Patriotic sentiments and my civility.

Respectful Tributes
Guy Philippe, Senator Elect
Represented by his Lawyer
