Breaking News: Four people died and two seriously injured after gas truck's explosion in northern Haiti

Four people died and two were seriously injured after the explosion of a truck loaded with fuel last night in the city of Archaie, north of the Haitian capital, informed this Saturday, January 6, Haiti's Civil Protection agency.

The two killed are the driver of the truck and his co passenger, while the injured were in the street at the time of the explosion, according to Civil Protection, which has not yet identified the victims nor the caused of the explosion.

The accident occurred amid the shortage of gasoline that has affected many cities for days, due the delay of a tanker, according to The National Association of Petroleum Distributors.
