Former Haitian President Michel Martelly along with his family, arrived in the Dominican Republic through the Maria Montez International Airport in this province of Barahona, following violent protests that is occurring in his country.

The arrival of the Martelly family took place on Sunday afternoon, in a helicopter from Port-au-Prince, the Haitian capital, according to a strong statement to the media.

According to the source, his wife, Angela Pierre Jean-Baptiste, and the ex-president's children, Michel Yani, Bianka Christy J., Michael Alexandre, Michael Olivier, Olivia Michael, Kahlil Michel-Olivier, and Melaika Michael Martelly, arrived on the aircraft. .
