The security forces conducted this past weekend several sweeps that netted some dangerous criminals.

The Police spokesman Gary Desrosiers, confirmed that two Martissant gang leaders were killed. Priest Jean the Baptiste was killed in clashes with security forces in the streets Christophe Channel, south of Carrefour. His brother Wilson Jean Baptiste was also killed in clashes between gangs in Mariani.

The brothers Jean Baptiste, known as Leconte, terrorized Martissant 2 residents in the last month. The announcement of their deaths provoked scenes of joy in these neighborhoods.
