Haiti Launches first electric micro-network

The first micro-network of alternative electricity distribution in Haiti was inaugurated last Monday in the town of Les Anglais (SUD). Half of the residents of this city of 430 households have access for the first time to electric power.

The project is implemented by the International Earthspark firm in collaboration with Haitian business "Eneji Pwop", with funding from the US Agency for International Development (USAID).
